Farmers Insurance® Names Erik Toohey Head of Agency Owner Operations

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Feb. 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Farmers Insurance^® today announced Erik Toohey has joined the organization as the new Head of Agency Owner Operations. In this role, Toohey will be responsible for the overall strategy of the Exclusive Agent Distribution channel, modernizing processes and evolving capabilities while supporting the immediate achievement of territory results. He will report to Ken Walton, President of Distribution and Chief Revenue Officer.

Toohey joins Farmers^® from Gallagher^®, where he served as Corporate Vice President of US Finance, where he was responsible for the overall strategic planning and financial management of a $2.5 billion segment. He has also held key leadership positions with Kemper^®, Berkley One^®, Travelers^®, and Cigna^®, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership in distribution management, financial management, strategic planning, and operational oversight.
