Funds for the scholarships were raised by Fulton's Women in Technology Employee Resource Group, and they were designed to support individuals studying in the science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) fields.
Both recipients will be attending undergraduate programs in the fall:
Jessica Canedo is fromRiverside, New Jersey and graduated from Riverside High School. She will attend Saint Joseph's University studying biochemistry.Camie Nguyen is fromHavre de Grace, Maryland and graduated fromHavre de Grave High School . She will attend the University of Maryland studying chemistry and pre-pharmacy.

In order to qualify for the scholarship, applicants had to reside within Fulton Bank's footprint, be a high school senior and be accepted and in the process of enrolling at a two-to-four-year undergraduate program in a STEM-related field.
Fulton's Women in Technology Employee Resource Group is open to all interested employees.
