Momentum Grows as More Former Jack Cooper Drivers Regain Protections of NMATA
Fleet Transport Corporation was launched recently to fill the void left by Jack Cooper's bankruptcy, which was caused by the company's chronic mismanagement and irresponsible corporate practices. These carhaulers previously worked for Jack Cooper and were represented by the Teamsters Union.
Because of the hard work of the Teamsters Carhaul Division, Fleet Transport Corporation voluntarily recognized these workers as Teamsters and signed onto the National Master Automobile Transports Agreement (NMATA).
