FANUC America Awards Robot and Scholarship to Center Line High School

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- FANUC America, the leading supplier of robots, CNCs and factory automation will present a robot and scholarship to the winners of their Advanced Automation Challenge at Center Line High School on Monday, Oct. 3 at noon.

The student winners, Regina and Genevieve Dominick won first place in FANUC’s challenge by programming a robotic process using ROBOGUIDE simulation software and then transferring the program to run on a real FANUC robot.

“We’re so proud of Regina and Genevieve and all of the students who participate in our Industry, Technology and Innovation Academy,” said Eve Kaltz, Superintendent, Center Line Public Schools. “I’d like to pay special tribute to our robotics instructor Donna Giacona and our CNC instructor Mike Quinn. Their enthusiasm for advanced technologies has inspired so many students in our program to pursue a career in automation.”

The event will be held in the Media Center at Center Line High School located at 26300 Arsenal in Center Line, MI.
