"More than a few years ago, I also corrected the reports of my demise as greatly exaggerated…which only proved to be a temporary truth, until April 21, 1910.

However, I have managed to make a special arrangement with God to come back, as The Ghost of Mark Twain, to take care of a few loose ends that I neglected to handle when I was on earth the first time.

So, I am officially retracting my April 1910 obituary and placing it on hold until a future undetermined date.

All of my prior accomplishments and works have been stolen or have expired for monetary compensation.

I will soon re-embark on a sustenance agenda that may involve temporary basic hourly wage until I can again establish a more appropriate and suitable source of income, based upon more writings that I left undone and any that I can conjure up and sell to achieve respectable accommodations, which I was formerly used to.

The last 100+ years have not been pleasant for me, primarily because of my scallywaggery in the prior two centuries. I have been subjected to divine restitution and part of the reason I'm back is to fulfill a specially-arranged, alternative-method of completing that process in order to be worthy of getting past the Pearly Gates, next time around.

But all that is explained in this new book, dictated to and told by a generally truthful, Mr. John J. Hawthorne, Esq."
