Edward Jones Named One of the World's Most Admired Companies

ST. LOUIS, Jan. 23, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Financial services firm Edward Jones has been named to FORTUNE magazine's list of the World's Most Admired Companies, a ranking of the most respected and reputable companies. The firm ranked 4th in the category of Securities/Asset Management.

Based on a survey of 3,750 executives, directors, analysts and experts, the ranking takes into account nine criteria from investment value and quality of management and products, to social responsibility and the ability to attract talent.

To create this list, FORTUNE magazine and Korn Ferry whittled down a list of about 1,500 of the world's largest companies based on revenue to a pool of 680 with the highest revenues in 30 countries. A total of 330 companies make the final list.

The most admired ranking is the latest in a series of honors for Edward Jones by FORTUNE magazine. In its 19th appearance on the list, the firm ranked No. 5 on FORTUNE magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For 2018" list. Edward Jones also was named a great place to work for women, for millennials and for parents by the Great Place to Work and Fortune magazine.
