Economic Investment Trust Limited's Disclosures on SEDAR

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 02/19/16 -- On January 6, 2016, Economic Investment Trust Limited (the "Company") (TSX: EVT) was notified by the Ontario Securities Commission that it had reviewed the Company's disclosure record, including the December 31, 2014 Management Discussion & Analysis ("MD&A") and the Annual Information Form ("AIF") dated February 20, 2015, and it was of the view that there were deficiencies in the disclosures, which will be remedied in future disclosure documents. The December 31, 2015 MD&A and the AIF dated February 11, 2016 include additional disclosures with respect to: the business and risk factors of E-L Financial Corporation Limited, a significant investment of the Company; details on the contract for investment services provided by Burgundy Asset Management Ltd.; and, details on the contract for administrative services provided by E-L Financial Corporation Limited.
