EBG Appoints Jay Reynardus as General Counsel

AVENTURA, Fla., Feb. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- EBG has appointed Jorge (Jay) Reynardus as General Counsel to lead all legal matters for the company. Reynardus will report to Chief Financial Officer Robert Riesenberg and will be based in EBG's Aventura office.

In this critical role, Reynardus will lead the Company's legal strategy, practices, and policies. Reynardus will act as a key partner to the Company's leadership and business units across the organization on a wide range of legal matters including corporate strategies, reporting, compliance, risk mitigation, governance and business transactions. He will also lead the Company's legal review of potential mergers & acquisitions activity.

Reynardus joins EBG from the Amadeus Group, a leading provider of travel technology solutions, where he held roles of increasing responsibility since 2008, culminating as the General Counsel, Americas in 2018, a position he has held since. During his 17-year tenure at Amadeus, Reynardus was responsible for leading the legal function, including combined assurance, transactions, regulatory, compliance, intellectual property, litigation, and was a member of the company's Global Ethics Committee and Regional Data Privacy team.

Prior to joining the Amadeus Group, Reynardus was an associate at Holland & Knight law firm. He holds a Masters in US History/International Studies from Florida International University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
