Q3 WAS OUR STRONGEST QUARTER TO DATE, AS OUR NEW VEHICLES CONTINUE TO DELIVER
During Q2 we deployed 45,000 new vehicles across a number of key markets, replacing older vehicles in our first major fleet refresh. The strong performance of the new vehicles that we saw in Q2 has continued in Q3, with more frequent usage and improved user engagement driving a 22% year-on-year net revenue uplift in our new fleet markets. Combined with improvements in unit economics driven by lower breakage rates and better battery efficiency, these markets generated 70% higher DMC year-on-year and will pay back the investment in under 18 months.
"Q3 was our strongest quarter yet, and it shows what Dott can deliver when we put the user experience first. Our new vehicles are more reliable and more enjoyable to ride, and riders are responding by using them more often, spending more with us and staying with us longer. This is reflected directly in our results, with higher usage driving growth in our new vehicle markets. We are changing cities, and the lives of millions of users, for the better, moving them closer to where they need to be."
"We are pleased with the continued progress this quarter, which came from improved unit economics and the strong performance of our new vehicles. Together with a more flexible market cost base, this lifted margins further and delivered our highest quarterly DMC to date. With our headquarters cost efficiencies annualising, this led to a 42% year-on-year improvement in Adjusted EBITDA and our first quarter of positive EBIT. Now that the audits and the bond listing are complete, our focus is on continuing this trajectory of profitable growth."
FY 2026 EARNINGS EXPECTATIONS
With three quarters now behind us, our new fleet fully deployed and performing as expected, and continued improvement in profitability, we have greater visibility over the full year result. We expect to deliver €30-32m FY 2026 Adjusted EBITDA, towards the lower end of the previously communicated guidance range.
FINANCE LEADERSHIP UPDATE
Carlos Sanchez Arruti joined Dott as Chief Financial Officer in
"I am excited to join Dott. Shared vehicles are now part of daily life in our cities, with 12 million users and 500 million rides, and Dott is leading that shift. Q3 shows the business is built to last: a 45% DMC margin, positive EBIT for the first time and LTM Adjusted EBITDA of €24.8 million. That gives our bondholders and shareholders a strong base, and I will work to keep it strong. I thank Maxim and the Board for the opportunity, and Chris for a seamless handover and a well-run finance function. I look forward to building on this with the team and our investors."
