Diehl Automotive redesigns website after buying Mikan Volkswagen

BUTLER, Pa., April 8, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Diehl Automotive purchased Mikan Volkswagen last month, adding Volkswagen models to its lineup for the first time. The inventory from the Mikan location has been moved from its building on New Castle Road to the Diehl Automotive location at 258 Pittsburgh Road in Butler, Pennsylvania, and Diehl now offers services and parts for Volkswagen. Donnie Gutherie, spokesman for Diehl Automotive, indicated a plan for a new Volkswagen building, but no details are confirmed at this time.

Following the purchase of Mikan Volkswagen, Diehl has completely redesigned the website under the Diehl Automotive name. This revamped website design, staff members say, aims to improve the user experience by providing improved image quality and design layout, an intuitive interface which enhances website navigation and online tools have been added to aid consumers in financing and automotive service decisions.

Also new to the website is a dealership blog, which was created in an effort to provide updates on dealership news, community events, automotive how-to articles and information specific to Volkswagen models.

Diehl Automotive, founded in 1995 by Matthew and Corina Diehl, also sells Scion, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Chrysler and Toyota models at its Butler Location. Corina Diehl, following the death of Matthew Diehl in 2007, is the sole owner and president of Diehl Automotive and added a Robinson Township location to the company in 2012.

A grand opening celebration for the Volkswagen addition to the company is planned for May 2 at the Butler location, with live music and prize giveaways scheduled for the event. The first five customers to purchase a new Volkswagen will be given their choice of any concert tickets for the season at First Niagara Pavillion.
