Det-Tronics Appoints Johannes Mario Kahlert as President

BLOOMINGTON, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Det-Tronics, a global leader in fire and gas safety systems, today announced the appointment of Johannes Mario Kahlert as President. In addition to his leadership of Det-Tronics, Mario will join the Spectrum Safety Solutions Executive Leadership Team and will be based at the Det-Tronics global headquarters in Bloomington, Minnesota.
In this role, Mario will assume full business responsibility and lead the global Det-Tronics team as we accelerate our journey toward achieving our North Star: to be the #1 choice for customers in lifesaving and asset protection solutions across high-hazard, safety-critical markets.
Mario joins Det-Tronics from Siemens where he spent more than 25 years in various roles of increasing responsibilities and scope in general management, strategy, growth, and sales in process automation, factory automation, building products and fire safety. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering and business from Kaiserslautern University in Germany.
