Democrasales Acquires T-Plex

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Democrasales Holdings, Inc. has announced that it has acquired T-Plex Industries, Inc. The deal marks the third add-on acquisition for the Democrasales platform. St. Louis, Missouri-based T-Plex is a leading supplier of medical and surgical supplies and capital equipment to physician offices and ambulatory surgery centers. Paul Telker, who founded T-Plex, will remain active with Democrasales. Financial terms of the transaction are not being disclosed.

Gregg Rivkind, CEO of Democrasales, said T-Plex's customer and vendor base, as well as the location of its distribution center in St. Louis, is expected to provide an opportunity for Democrasales to expand further into the Midwest region. "We believe that T-Plex, known for its commitment to a high level of customer service, will be a great fit within the Democrasales portfolio of well-known healthcare distribution brands," Rivkind said.
