D.A. Davidson Strengthens Individual Investor Group With Financial Planning Veteran

Financial planning, psychology expert supports wealth management team

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- D.A. Davidson & Co., an employee-owned full-service investment firm, has hired April Zee to serve as associate director of wealth planning for the firm’s Individual Investor Group.

Zee will be based in the Los Angeles office of Crowell, Weedon & Co., a division of D.A. Davidson. She will provide financial planning services to clients across its southern California region while simultaneously collaborating with the company’s entire wealth management team. Zee has 14 years of experience in the financial services industry and has spent the last 10 years leading planning roles with Wells Fargo and, most recently, Union Bank.

In addition to her extensive financial services background, Zee holds advanced degrees in the field of psychology, allowing her to bring a unique perspective to the financial planning process. Zee received her master’s degree in psychology from Pepperdine University and has completed her coursework for a doctorate in psychology from Ryokan College.
