Cornelius, SBT Will Showcase New Concentrated Beer

Collaboration Features New Belgium, Crazy Mountain, and Denali Craft Beers

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cornelius, Inc., the leading global producer of beverage dispensing systems, and Sustainable Beverage Technologies (“SBT”), a Colorado based developer of concentrated beer technologies, are set to showcase beer being dispensed from concentrate at the 2016 National Restaurant Association (“NRA”) trade show in Chicago.

SBT has applied its unique BrewVo brewing technology toward developing a portfolio of beers with three craft brewers to create new beers that are concentrated until served from a Cornelius dispenser. The three craft breweries are New Belgium, Crazy Mountain, and Denali. The combination of SBT’s BrewVo technology and Cornelius dispensers will allow these premium craft brewers to share their products with customers in a more efficient and sustainable manner. Cornelius is the exclusive provider of dispensing equipment for concentrated beer to SBT. Cornelius has developed a new beer tap system that replaces conventional kegs with bag-in-box concentrate made using the BrewVo process. The move to bag-in-box concentrate allows Cornelius to achieve a higher brand density at retail while also substantially reducing the carbon footprint of the beer supply chain. Market trials for the dispenser are expected to begin in late Q2 2016.
