Citi Adds Key Executives to Securities Services and Issuer Services Operations
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Citi is pleased to announce that it has added three key executives to Securities Services and Issuer Services (SS&I) Operations.
Jeffrey Plein joins Citi as a Managing Director and Regional Head of APAC, ex India, responsible for providing overall leadership and strategy development for SS&I Operations across the APAC Region. Mr. Plein has held senior operations roles in Asia Pacific for the last 17 years. He joins from Fullerton Asset Management where he was the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Fullerton, he was with Blackrock, where he was a Managing Director and Head of Business Operations.
Michael Page rejoins Citi as a Managing Director and Head of Productivity and Automation, driving both strategic and tactical automation initiatives. Mr. Page was most recently the Chief Operating Officer at Silver Ridge Asset Management. Before leaving Citi in 2015, he was a Managing Director and the CAO for the Global FXLM business. In addition, he was the CAO for Central Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Both report to Brian Ovaert, Global Head of Securities Services and Issuer Services Operations, and are based in Singapore and London respectively.
Owen Carroll joins as a Director and Global Head of Transfer Agency Operations. He is responsible for all Transfer Agency Operations across Fund Administration Operations globally, including, Distributor Services in Europe and Asia, processing teams in Kuala Lumpur and India, Global Change Management and AML teams. Mr. Carroll will join in December and will be based in Dublin.
