CHICAGO, Jan. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Stahl Cowen Crowley Addis, LLC, a Chicago-based law firm handling a variety of corporate and individual legal needs, names Megan Lopp Mathias a new partner in its litigation practice.

Megan assists clients with multi-jurisdictional and complex commercial litigation, including contract disputes, corporate governance, employment issues, partnership/shareholder disputes, breach of fiduciary and trade secret claims.  She represents a wide variety of clients from technology start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations.

Megan currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors of the Coalition of Women's Initiatives in Law, and serves as co-chair of the Coalition's Career Development Committee.  In addition, Megan is active in the Chicago Executive's Club, Chicago Council on Global Affairs, the Diversity Scholarship Foundation, Leadership Council for Human Rights, Seventh Circuit Electronic Discovery Pilot Program, Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.

After obtaining two Bachelor of Art degrees from Michigan State University in Marketing and International Relations, she went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology.
