Central Maine Power Re-Commits to Tendril with Multi-Year Extension
Agreement Extends the Role of the Tendril ESM Platform in CMP’s Dedication to Customer Satisfaction
BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tendril®, the leading provider of Energy Services Management (ESM) solutions, today announced a new three-year contract with Central Maine Power (CMP) to deliver innovative customer engagement solutions to more than 600,000 residences and small businesses.
CMP chose Tendril because of its competitive product and strong relationship working together to deliver advanced energy efficiency initiatives and driving industry-leading customer satisfaction scores.

Under terms of the agreement, CMP will continue to offer its customers access to a tailored web portal that includes targeted information based on usage habits, as well as personalized energy-saving tips. Additionally, CMP will now leverage Tendril's multiple account and weather normalization capabilities. The multiple accounts feature allows customers to manage various properties within a single interface via the portal. CMP customers’ energy usage and reports will also now take into account their local weather, enabling them to understand if real or anticipated increases in energy expenses relate to temperature differences year-over-year, as opposed to changes in their appliance use or home configurations.
