Celanese Announces MIBK and MIBC Price Increases

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Celanese Corporation (NYSE: CE), a global technology and specialty materials company, will increase list and off-list selling prices for MIBK (methyl isobutyl ketone) and MIBC (methyl isobutyl carbinol). The price increases below will be effective February 1, 2017, or as contracts allow, and are in addition to the previous MIBK price increase, which was also effective February 1, 2017.
