Cary Oil Appoints Industry Veteran Thomas Horvatits as CEO

Executive to lead one of the nation's largest independent fuel distributors

CARY, N.C., Sept. 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- COC Properties, parent company of Cary Oil, announced the appointment of Thomas Horvatits as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cary Oil Company, a leading national fuel distributor and gasoline wholesaler.

Horvatits brings more than 20 years of energy distribution leadership experience. He joins Cary Oil from Mansfield Energy Corporation, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations for Mansfield Service Partners. During his tenure, Horvatits spearheaded a transformation that quadrupled EBITDA in just two years and successfully executed and integrated two major acquisitions.
