CareSource awards $200,000 to six Wisconsin nonprofits improving community health

Public voting determined the grantees in the CareSource Foundation Grant Challenge.

BROOKFIELD, Wis., Sept. 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- CareSource, a nationally recognized nonprofit managed care organization, announced the recipients of the CareSource Foundation Grant Challenge, awarding $200,000 to six Wisconsin nonprofits making a meaningful impact on their communities.   

Green Bay-based Innovative Care Services received the most entries during the public voting period and will apply its $50,000 CareSource Foundation Grant toward its mission of caring for people with disabilities and helping them lead fulfilling lives with maximum independence. 

In addition to Innovative Care Services, the top five CareSource Foundation grantees include:  

• Bread of Healing Clinic

• Northlakes Community Clinic 

• Center for Suicide Awareness

• City on a Hill 

• Community for Hope

Each nonprofit will receive a grant to expand existing programs or launch new initiatives, focusing on mental health services, care for individuals with special needs and support of free health clinics.
