Canadian Oil Sands' Shareholders Elect Directors at Annual General Meeting

CALGARY, AB -- (Marketwired) -- 05/01/15 -- (TSX: COS) - Canadian Oil Sands Limited ("COS") held its Annual General Meeting in Calgary on April 30, 2015. A total of approximately 265,324,444 million shares (approximately 54.75 percent of outstanding common shares) were represented in person or by proxy.

During business proceedings at the meeting, shareholders elected ten Board members, including nine independent directors, until the next annual general meeting. The voting results of shares represented at the meeting for individual directors were as follows:
