Campus Maccabees Formed to Fight Hate Groups on Campus

This past weekend, more than 50 pro-Israel organizations gathered in Las Vegas with many philanthropists – led by Sheldon and Dr. Miriam Adelson, Haim and Cheryl Saban, and Adam and Gila Milstein – to plant the seeds for a new collaborative effort known as the Campus Maccabees.

The Campus Maccabees will harness the full might of the pro-Israel community to defeat the hate groups now spreading anti-Semitism and lies about the Jewish State on America's college campuses.

Sheldon Adelson said, "An historic responsibility rests on the shoulders of the leaders of our generation. With strength, determination, and unity, the Campus Maccabees will unite the best pro-Israel organizations, reverse the rising tide of anti-Semitism on our campuses, and succeed in the battle against the hate groups that seek Israel's destruction."
