In 2000, Lynn and David Paolella unwittingly launched Cambrooke in their family kitchen as a means to improve the lives of their children who had been diagnosed with phenylketonuria (PKU), a metabolic disorder requiring strict dietary management. The couple began experimenting with recipes to make their children's nutrition both palatable and effective. In 2017, Ajinomoto acquired Cambrooke, increasing the company's ability to deliver science-based nutritional solutions to patients around the world.
