CTA Construction Managers Marks Milestone for Taunton Public Safety Complex

Construction of Taunton's new public safety complex is on track for completion by the end of 2025 with the facility anticipated to be fully operational shortly thereafter.

TAUNTON, Mass., Feb. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- CTA Construction Managers and the City of Taunton celebrated a major milestone in the construction of its new Public Safety Complex with a steel topping-off ceremony late last year. The ceremony marked the placement of the final steel beam on the 62,000-square-foot, two-story facility, which will house police and fire administration, equipment bays, a sallyport, booking and holding cells, utility rooms, sleeping quarters, and shared spaces. The project also includes a 16,000-square-foot operations support building.

Designed by Caolo & Bieniek Architects, the public safety complex reflects a state-of-the-art safety infrastructure and efficient public service. The architectural firm and CTA Construction Managers previously teamed up on the award-winning UMass Police Headquarters.
