NEW YORK, July 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT) today announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.25 per common share on its outstanding common stock, which represents a 56 percent increase over the prior quarter's $0.16 per common share dividend. The common stock dividend is payable on Aug. 24, 2018 to common shareholders of record as of Aug. 10, 2018.
