Brookdale Reports August 2021 Occupancy

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 9, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Brookdale Senior Living Inc. (NYSE: BKD) reported today its consolidated occupancy for August 2021.

August 2021 Observations:

• Six consecutive months of occupancy growth.
• Sequentially, the weighted average occupancy percentage increased 50 bps.
• For the month of August, Brookdale achieved an increase in occupancy on a sequential basis, even with the rise of the COVID-19 delta variant in the general U.S. population.
• We expect to continue to publish monthly occupancy reports until we return to providing financial guidance, at which point we would expect to return to our historical reporting practices.
