Bivo Launches New Cycling Bottle To Support Sea Turtle Conservation
RICHMOND, Vt.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- For World Oceans Day, the stainless steel cycling water bottle company Bivo is launching the Sea Turtle Bottle, with 100% of profits going to the Sea Turtle Conservancy to protect sea turtles.
Made in collaboration with South-Florida based photographer, environmental advocate and avid cyclist, Ben Hicks, these bottles feature laser-engraved sea turtle artwork meant to highlight the concerns around plastic debris in the ocean and how that’s impacting sea turtles and other marine life.
"I'm thrilled to be launching the Sea Turtle Bottle with Ben,” says Bivo co-founder Carina Hamel. “His efforts in educating consumers about the detrimental effects of plastics on turtles are truly commendable. At Bivo, our mission is to create less waste and positively impact the environment, so collaborating with Ben to support the Sea Turtle Conservancy is incredibly rewarding.”
Partnering with Ben Hicks was natural for Bivo. Ben’s goal of raising awareness of the impact of plastic on marine life aligns with Bivo’s commitment to help athletes drink out of less plastic for health and environmental reasons.
Bivo is donating 100% of profits to the Sea Turtle Conservancy, a Florida-based group committed to ensuring the survival of sea turtles within the Caribbean, Atlantic and Pacific through research, education, training, advocacy and habitat protection.
About Bivo: Bivo is a performance hydration company that cares deeply about the impact of raw materials on humans and the environment. Bivo makes sophisticated stainless steel bottles for cyclists with a high flow rate for effortless drinking.
