NOVATO, Calif., Oct. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Balavant Insurance Group ("Balavant"), a national managing general agency (MGA) platform, today announced the acquisition of TIMBY Specialty Insurance Solutions, a leading inland marine program manager serving the transportation, logistics, energy, and construction sectors.

Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Everett, Washington, TIMBY Specialty has built a strong program presence in the inland marine space. Its innovative product offerings include Contractors' Equipment, Motor Truck Cargo and Warehouse Legal Liability, supported by A-rated capacity, both admitted and non-admitted. Additional capacity and expansion into other specialty marine products is expected over time.
