Award Swapping for Regent Fund Will Release in Summer 2025

The latest innovation in fund management from Regent Education automates the full process of swapping general awards for donor-specific ones

FREDERICK, Md., June 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Regent Education, a leader in SaaS-based financial aid and fund management solutions, announced today, Award Swapping, a new feature for Regent Fund—its solution that automates fund management from application to award to reporting. Scheduled for release later this summer, Award Swapping, also referred to as Subsidiary Funding, automates the full process of swapping general awards for donor-specific ones, reducing administrative work and minimizing errors caused by manual tracking.

For financial aid offices, ensuring the distribution of funds to the most eligible students per the donor's request is essential. However, donors often include specific instructions and a set of criteria that their award recipients must meet, making the process manual and tedious. That's where Award Swapping comes in. With Award Swapping, users will simply configure the system to award, swap, and re-award funds as needed, eliminating the need to manually manage the association between its general funds and donor funds.
