Attorney Kent L. Schwarz Joins Becker LLC

Mr. Schwarz comes to the firm after a distinguished career at a prestigious New Jersey firm where he worked since 1997 representing corporate and private clients in tax, corporate and transactional matters. Prior to that, he served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Carleton D. Powell of the United States Tax Court. He is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant (North Carolina).

Mr. Schwarz has experience in all aspects of federal and state taxation, including advising clients in domestic and international corporate transactions, tax-free reorganizations, executive compensation, and handling tax controversy matters. Mr. Schwarz has acted as lead counsel in a number of significant business sales, mergers and acquisitions including sales to strategic and private equity buyers.
