Arclin Expands Firepoint® Distribution Through New Partnership with Capital Lumber

Capital Lumber to stock Arclin Firepoint^® fire-resistant structural sheathing at Sacramento and Healdsburg, California, locations

ALPHARETTA, Ga., Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Arclin, a leading materials science company, today announced a new distribution partnership with Capital Lumber for Arclin Firepoint^®, its proprietary, fire-resistant structural sheathing. Capital Lumber will stock Firepoint at its Sacramento and Healdsburg, California, locations, expanding product availability for lumber dealers, builders, contractors, architects, and other customers across the region.

The partnership expands Firepoint's distribution network in California, providing building professionals with greater access to a sheathing solution designed to support more resilient construction. Firepoint integrates proprietary intumescent technology onto the panel to help slow fire while preserving the structural performance and constructability builders expect from conventional sheathing.

Firepoint installs like conventional sheathing and integrates into standard framing workflows without requiring separate fire-protection layers. The product is designed for residential, multifamily, and Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) construction and meets California WUI (Chapter 7A) requirements.
