Andres Capital Management Attracts Top Talent, Adds Managing Director

High-yield expert, Mariel Clemensen, joins growing fixed income RIA

BERWYN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Andres Capital Management, an independent SEC registered investment advisor (RIA) with $700 million in assets under management and specializing in managing U.S. fixed income portfolios for institutions, private clients and advisors, has appointed Mariel Clemensen to managing director.

Clemensen brings more than 25 years of experience and an institutional reputation for independent, high-quality research essential to success in the high income space. In her new role, Clemensen will manage the firm’s high-yield and high income strategies.

Clemensen began her career as an analyst at the Capital Group in Los Angeles and subsequently held the title of Director of High-Yield Research at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, Citicorp and Lehman Brothers. Her Donaldson team was recognized by both the Greenwich Survey and Institutional Investor Magazine as the No. 1 Wall Street research team for several years running. She has authored articles for Barron’s and was the initial high-yield analyst to appear on Louis Rukeyser’s “Wall Street Week.”
