Americas Cardroom Announces $6.5M GTD Dual Venom PKOs for October

Both tournaments begin Sunday, October 4 with $2,650 direct buy-ins.

SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica, Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Americas Cardroom has announced its October Dual Venom PKO tournaments, featuring $6.5 million in combined guarantees.

The $5 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em event and $1.5 million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha event begin Sunday, October 4. The PLO tournament ties the brand's largest PLO PKO guarantee ever.

Each tournament has five starting flights: October 4, 8, 11, 15 and 18. All flights begin at 1:05 p.m. ET. Day 2 for both events takes place Monday, October 19 at 1:05 p.m. ET.

Venom Fever runs September 29 through October 18, offering hundreds of seats through Direct Satellites, Mega Satellites and Survivor Flips Step Satellites. Survivor Flips Steps start at 80 cents, and some Mega Satellites offer qualifying paths starting at $0.

In the progressive knockout format, half of an eliminated player's bounty goes to the player scoring the knockout. The other half increases that player's own bounty. Bounties can grow to tens of thousands of dollars for a single elimination.

Last year's Dual Venom PKOs produced $7,847,500 in combined prize pools. The NLH event attracted 2,498 entries and generated $6,245,000. Winner Rigapols81 collected $378,372 in regular prize money and nearly $297,000 in bounties, earning more than $675,000 overall.

The PLO event drew 641 entries and built a $1,602,500 prize pool. Champion PohPohPohPAAAA received $135,789 in regular prize money and $117,099 in bounties, totaling $252,888.
