From Discovery to Arrival
Amap Street Stars is designed to support the full travel journey from picking the destination to navigation as well as exploration upon arrival.
At the planning stage, Amap Street Stars recommends destinations based on actual travel and conditions. Users can use Flying Street View 2.0 to preview destinations as immersive, explorable 3D environments. The feature can help them assess the view from theater seats, navigate shopping-malls, or get a feel for the terrain of scenic areas before a visit.
ABot-Earth 0.7 is built on a native 3D architecture and years of Amap's mapping and location data. It brings together diverse geographic and environmental information into a continuous, interactive 3D digital world, spanning more than 196 countries and regions.
"If large language models help us process text, I hope Amap's spatial intelligence can help us better explore the world," Guo said.
From a satellite image or text prompt, ABot-Earth 0.7 can generate a kilometer-scale 3D urban scene in 10 minutes on a single consumer-grade GPU, up to 1,000 times more efficient than traditional approaches. The model can generate continuous, generative 3D spaces rather than fixed routes, enabling immersive exploration for the user's intent and curiosity.
Once users reach a destination, Amap's Navigation Live feature offers real-time support through natural conversation and multimodal spatial awareness. It can identify and interpret nearby buildings, attractions, businesses and environmental information through a smartphone camera.
Broader Coverage, Local Growth
In 2026, Amap Street Stars expanded both the scope of its rankings and the places they cover. Its "Top Picks" ranking now spans six categories: food, hotels, attractions, coffee, bars and entertainment. "Local Favorites" ranking has also expanded from 133 to 269 cities and now includes county-level destinations. Amap also introduced the BEST100 in
Businesses included in the 2025 "Local Favorites" ranking recorded average year-on-year order growth of 424% this year, while those in the "Top Picks" ranking saw 159% growth.
Amap's spatial-intelligence capabilities are now available across smartphones, vehicle systems, embodied robots, smartwatches, and smart glasses, bringing Amap's local discovery and navigation to more everyday settings.
