LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Allen Matkins, a California-based full service real estate and business law firm, announced today the addition of real estate finance partner Marc D. Young to its Los Angeles office. Marc brings to the firm's Corporate & Finance Department and Commercial Real Estate Practice Group a practice covering a broad range of complex real estate transactions, having a particular emphasis on real estate finance, joint ventures and restructurings. He joins Allen Matkins after serving as the chair of Morrison & Foerster's global Real Estate Group for over ten years.

Most recently, he has represented agent banks in some of the largest construction financings in downtown Los Angeles, including the Metropolis project and a new residential building at 1212 Flower Street.
