Agility Robotics CEO Peggy Johnson Selected to Join Project Meridian
Johnson to Bring Commercial Humanoid Robotics Expertise to Strategic Study Examining the Future of Warfare Including Logistics and Operational Support

Led by The MITRE Corporation, Project Meridian will develop strategic recommendations over a 10- to 20-year horizon, exploring emerging technologies, evolving operational concepts and the capabilities needed to address future national security challenges. The initiative brings together leaders from across the defense and technology industries. As a member of the group, Johnson will participate in an individual consultant capacity, drawing on her decades of technology leadership experience and Agility's expertise in developing and commercially deploying humanoid robots to discussions about how emerging technologies and commercial innovation can support the military's evolving needs.
"The future of robotics isn't just about developing new capabilities. It's about putting those capabilities to work where they can make a meaningful difference," said
Johnson's selection for Project Meridian provides an opportunity to contribute practical, commercially informed perspectives on emerging technologies and their potential applications to national security. Her participation is an individual consultant to MITRE, separate from Agility's commercial operations and its independent vision for the responsible application of humanoid robotics.
