Advanta Health Partners with Petzey, Extending Wellness Coverage to Pet Health
Partnership reflects Advanta's evolution from a wellness incentive platform into a broader engagement and incentive technology company, adding 24/7 veterinary access and AI-powered pet health support for ActiveFit+ members
The partnership pairs two companies built around the same operating principle: usefulness drives engagement, and engagement is what makes a benefit worth offering. ActiveFit+ has built its reputation on incentive-driven participation that outperforms the industry, and Petzey has built a proprietary routing and matching platform that connects pet owners to licensed vet professionals in real time, 24 hours a day, in all 50 states. Bringing the two together reflects a simple, research-backed idea: pet health is whole health, and the stress, cost, and worry of caring for a sick or injured pet weighs on people's wellbeing the same way any other unresolved health concern does.
For ActiveFit+ members, Petzey will offer two tiers of support. PetzeyAI, a vet-trained chat assistant, gives instant answers to everyday pet health questions at no cost. When a situation calls for more, members can connect with a live, licensed veterinary professional by phone or video, day or night, without the wait or expense of an emergency clinic visit. The offering is not a substitute for emergency veterinary care, but for the range of questions and concerns that fall short of that, it gives members an immediate, trustworthy first stop.
"We built ActiveFit+ around a simple belief: the more useful a benefit is in someone's actual life, the more they use it, and the more they use it, the more it works," said
"Advanta has built one of the most engaged member populations in the health and wellness space, and that engagement is exactly what makes this partnership meaningful," said
Petzey has already demonstrated that model at scale. Since launching as an enterprise benefit in 2023, the company has signed leading partners including Verizon Rewards, Citibank Mastercard, and Carvana. Its platform has been certified with an A grade through BitSight's technology and cybersecurity assessment, and Petzey reports that roughly 70 percent of veterinary clinic visits can be resolved through a Petzey telehealth consultation, at a fraction of the average
