AdCap Management Inc. Names Chaya Slain Chief Investment Officer

CLEVELAND, May 17, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- AdCap Management Inc., a Cleveland-based family office founded by father and son entrepreneurs, Shelly and Joel Adelman, has named Chaya Slain as Chief Investment Officer. Slain will oversee the firm's investment portfolio with a special focus on alternative investments and lending strategies.

Slain holds both a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation, and brings a strong background in ultra high net-worth investing and alternative asset classes to AdCap. She spent more than a decade at Parkwood, the investment office for the Mandel family and Mandel Foundation. Over the course of her career, she cultivated an extensive network of relationships with private equity, hedge funds and real estate managers. 

Slain has received a number of accolades, including CIO Magazine 40 under 40 in 2014 and NextGen in 2018. Prior to Parkwood, she worked at Goldman Sachs and received a mathematics degree from Columbia University.
