Accelint Appoints Brian Morrison as Chief Executive Officer

Seasoned defense and intelligence leader to guide Accelint's next chapter of growth

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Accelint today announced that Brian Morrison has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer. Morrison succeeds Mike Betzer, who has served as CEO since 2024, when Hypergiant, Forward Slope, Systems Innovation Engineering, Highbury Defense, and SoarTech came together to form Accelint – a key provider of AI and mission systems supporting the Department of Defense.

During his tenure as CEO, Betzer united these organizations under the Accelint brand and vision, establishing a foundation for growth and partnership with the Department of Defense and commercial industries.

As CEO, Brian Morrison brings decades of executive leadership and customer-focused delivery experience across government and industry. Before joining Accelint, Brian led highly technical, mission-critical business at AeroVironment, BlueHalo, and General Dynamics. Prior to entering industry, he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, as Deputy Staff Director and General Counsel for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and as assistant general counsel at the Central Intelligence Agency.

For his civilian service, he was awarded the Secretary of Defense Medal for Exceptional Public Service, as well as the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service.  He also served as a military officer during the Iraq War, earning the Iraq Campaign Medal and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal. 

He holds a B.A. degree from Brandeis University, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
