AVAIO Digital Names Dale Rice Vice President of Procurement

Rice will lead procurement strategy and execution across AVAIO's growing data center campus portfolio

STAMFORD, Conn., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- AVAIO Digital, a next-generation developer and operator of sustainable data centers, today announced the appointment of Dale Rice as Vice President of Procurement. Rice brings more than 25 years of global procurement leadership across EPC, energy, industrial, and infrastructure projects to AVAIO's expanding portfolio.

Rice joins AVAIO Digital following senior procurement leadership roles at KBR Inc. and Kent, the global engineering and project delivery firm, where he built and led global procurement organizations and directed procurement on multiple billion-dollar projects across the data center, energy, chemical, power, and industrial sectors. His experience spans the full procurement lifecycle — from sourcing strategy and competitive bidding through contract award, expediting, and closeout — working closely with engineering, construction, project management, finance, and executive leadership to align procurement with cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

Across multiple projects at KBR, Inc, Dale has overseen $4 billion in annual materials and equipment spend for capital projects throughout the Americas. His responsibilities have included sourcing and securing long-lead, mission-critical equipment, with a strong focus on cost optimization, schedule certainty, and mitigating supply chain risks for project stakeholders.

At AVAIO, Rice will lead supplier engagement, commercial strategy, contract negotiations, and procurement planning, with a focus on long-lead equipment and building a scalable supply chain to support the company's growth.
