ASCENT RESOURCES ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP CHANGE

OKLAHOMA CITY, Sept. 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Ascent Resources, LLC ("Ascent" or the "Company") today announced that Brooks Shughart, currently Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed President of Ascent and its subsidiaries. Mr. Shughart will remain in his current role as Chief Financial Officer of Ascent, along with expanding his responsibilities to include marketing & midstream, business development and operations. He will maintain his existing responsibilities of finance, treasury, investor relations and accounting.

He first served Ascent as a member of the Board of Managers from 2015-2020, and then moved to an executive leadership role in 2020. He has made material contributions across numerous business opportunities, led the effort to strengthen our balance sheet, improved capital markets access and refined our financial and business strategies," stated Jeffrey A. In recognition of Mr. Shughart's significant contributions, the Board is pleased to announce this promotion is effective immediately and looks forward to his continued contributions in this new role. Mr. Fisher will continue in his role as Chairman and CEO.
