AM Best to Participate in St. Joseph’s University’s Insurtech Symposium
OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AM Best will participate in an Insurtech Symposium developed jointly by St. Joseph’s University’s Maguire Academy of Insurance & Risk Management and the Spencer Education Foundation’s Digital Insights Lab on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in Philadelphia, PA.
Senior Financial Analyst Dan Hofmeister will give a presentation on the rating agency perspective as it relates to the insurtech landscape. His presentation will take place at 2:15 p.m. (EDT) at Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young’s offices at 2002 Market Street (Suite 2600) in Philadelphia. Also speaking at the event will be Pennsylvania Deputy Insurance Commissioner Dave Buono.
Hofmeister is a senior financial analyst in the property/casualty ratings division of AM Best. He is responsible for a rating portfolio consisting of global reinsurers, captives and U.S. domestic writers, and has been involved with numerous Best’s Special Reports and special projects.
