A.M.BestTV: Global Resiliency Index Shows Changing Landscape
OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- This episode of A.M.BestTV looks at the political changes and the natural catastrophes that have increased supply chain risks for nations such as Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Thailand, according to the second annual FM Global Resilience Index (FM Index).
According to Ronnie Gibson, chief engineer at FM Global, “The FM Index is a great asset to companies, since it is a composite index of 130 international countries, which are ranked from the highest to the lowest in terms of their resilience to supply chain interruption.”
“As resilience is defined as the ability to recover from difficulties, it is important for companies to know where their risks are, how to handle them and where to invest their risk management funds, information that is essential to companies operating on a global scale,” continued Gibson.
