At this year’s annual meeting, CPCU’s goal was to provide information and networking opportunities that would be valuable to the over 800 industry professionals that attended.

The topics addressed at the annual meeting included: cyber risk, climate changed, the sharing economy and micro-insurance. A.M. Best and two others presented an information session as a course on the basics of micro-insurance, what it means to have a micro-policy, how it is going to grow, what the trends are and what does and does not work in micro-insurance,” said Keenan.
