A.M. Best Withdraws Ratings of Maiden Specialty Insurance Company
OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- A.M. Best has withdrawn the financial strength rating of A- (Excellent) and the issuer credit rating of “a-” of Maiden Specialty Insurance Company (MSIC) (Raleigh, NC).
MSIC, previously a subsidiary of Maiden Reinsurance North America, Inc., was sold as a clean shell to Clear Blue Financial Holdings, LLC, on Nov. 3, 2015. This sale has resulted in A.M. Best withdrawing the ratings.
