Trump announces tariffs on Philippines, Brunei, Moldova, Iraq, Algeria, Libya

U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday took to Truth Social to announce imposition of the following tariffs, beginning August 1st:

• 25% on Philippines.
• 25% on Brunei.
• 30% on Algeria.
• 25% on Moldova.
• 30% on Iraq.
• 30% on Libya.
