Convening Elevates The Role Of Civic Learning In Preparing The Next Generation For Democracy

WASHINGTON, Sept. 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- In honor of Constitution Day, iCivics and More Perfect will co-host Civics, Citizenship, and the Constitution at American University Washington College of Law, in partnership with the National Constitution Center. This convening will bring together more than 300 educators, business leaders, students, government officials, and philanthropists for dialogue on the enduring meaning of the Constitution, its relevance today, and the power of civic learning to protect and sustain democracy. The event will feature discussions on civic renewal and unveil new, cross-sector commitments to support civic learning and engagement.

The program will also spotlight how civic learning, service opportunities, and cultural bridge building are advancing across the nation. Participants will engage in discussions on what is working to deepen knowledge of the Constitution at a time when trust in democracy has eroded. Speakers include:
