WaterFurnace Celebrates Grand Opening of Major Fort Wayne Headquarters Expansion

FORT WAYNE, Ind., Sept. 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- WaterFurnace International, a leading innovator in geothermal and water source heating and cooling solutions, celebrated the grand opening of its headquarters expansion in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on September 24. The 173,000-square-foot addition nearly triples the size of the facility, creating new opportunities to expand production, enhance efficiencies, and continue meeting the rising demand for renewable energy technologies.

The state-of-the-art building was designed with future growth in mind and, like the rest of the headquarters, is fully heated and cooled by WaterFurnace geothermal systems that draw from the renewable energy of the company's on-site pond. The facility highlights the company's long-standing commitment to sustainability and clean energy innovation.

The grand opening welcomed multiple state and local leaders, who joined more than 250 WaterFurnace employees to commemorate the milestone. Representatives from the offices of Governor Mike Braun, Senator Todd Young, Senator Jim Banks, and Congressman Marlin Stutzman, along with local and county officials, delivered remarks recognizing the company's role as a growing economic driver in northeast Indiana.
