Vivacity Infrastructure Group Appoints Mike Brescio as New Chief Financial Officer

CHICAGO, May 20, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Vivacity Infrastructure Group, a trusted provider of communications infrastructure solutions and services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Brescio as Chief Financial Officer. In the role of CFO, Mike will lead the company's financial strategy, planning, and operations. Mike joins the Vivacity leadership team with a proven track record of demonstrated financial leadership and strategic growth in the telecom, infrastructure and energy sectors throughout his 25-year career.

Brescio began his career at General Electric, where he completed its Financial Management Program and held a series of finance roles focused on infrastructure investing. He then joined Hugh O'Kane Electric Company as its CFO where he oversaw the financial operations of the New York City-based telecom and electrical construction firm. During his tenure, he became the founding CFO for ZenFi Networks, a digital infrastructure company that deployed and owned an innovative 1,100-mile fiber network in and around NYC that simplified access to its high-count fiber cables and helped deliver free WiFi and small cell connectivity. Brescio also led several major M&A deals and played a key role in delivering the LinkNYC project. Following ZenFi's acquisition by Boldyn Networks, Brescio helped lead the integration and commercialization of the combined network assets.

Mike holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Boston College, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
