Vivace's Hardware Supports Firefly Aerospace's Blue Ghost Mission 1
After 45 days of on-orbit operations, Firefly's Blue Ghost successfully touched down on the Moon on
Vivace provided critical, low-mass propellant and pressurant tanks, powered by specialized spacecraft pressure vessel technology, to support BGM1 and help Firefly maximize its engine performance during on-orbit operations and as they landed on the lunar surface. The tanks offer complex internal propellant management devices to control propellant through all phases of flight, including orbital maneuvering, translunar injection, and lunar landing. In addition to the BGM1 mission, Vivace continues to partner with Firefly on Blue Ghost vehicles and is currently building hardware to support future missions.
